How can you know unless you’re willing to ask more questions?  Some people may mean “I’m only physically/emotionally attracted to you” or they could mean “I’m both physically and emotionally attracted to you” or they might mean “I’m not attracted to you in any fashion at all but I’m willing to lie to you about it for hidden reasons.”

If you’re afraid of being taken advantage of, don’t commit to anything until you have other evidence of their sincerity.
