Your question reminds me of one of the all-time funniest comebacks I’ve ever heard by a comedian. I can’t remember her name, but it was in response to those insufferable Pantene shampoo and conditioner commercials from the 1980s, starring Kelly LeBrock.

Comedian (speaking like Kelly LeBrock reciting the Pantene tagline): “Don’t hate me because I’m beautiful.”

Comedian (speaking as herself): That’s not why we hate you.
