If you get turned on by the idea of inflicting sexual “punishment” on a willing participant that enjoys it, you are not a sexual sadist.

The formal diagnosis of Sexual Sadism Disorder would apply if the individual has acted on these urges with a nonconsenting person {my emphasis} or if the urges cause significant distress to the individual.

Sounds to me like you want to be a “top” in a BDSM type of arrangement. Investigate BDSM, learn the rules, be ethical, and play safely.

I would never act on it without someone’s consent.
