Yeah, the title of this post just kind of hit me while I was reading articles at Ravishly.

It really is the lifelong lesson.  It applies directly to sex, but it applies to so much more than that.

Verbal consent.  Non-verbal consent.  Negotiating and enforcing boundaries.  Respect for others’ autonomy.  Indicating no when you need to.  Indicating yes when you want to.

Think about all the areas of your life where this is important.

I’ll hazard a guess and say it applies to everything we do and will ever do.
