My son (16) has started seeing this girl and she is known (even to parents) as the high school slut. I was shocked when I found out and wish to say something to him but I am not sure if it is going to get through. Any suggestions?

Bullying is bad enough in high school. Parents don’t need to jump in and teach teens that slut shaming is acceptable behavior.

Let them both reach their own conclusions on where this relationship is heading without meddling and misogyny.

They’ll both appreciate the respect they’re most likely not getting from their peers.
