Well … it is.
Those asking for this presumptuous male solidarity usually …
- Want to cover up their own unscrupulous behavior,
- Are not very mature (possibly not adult or lousy examples of the aforementioned), and
- Lack introspection and trustworthiness.
They frequently and involuntarily recruit others to their cause, trying to bully them into a retrograde version of masculinity. They could figure shit out for themselves, but why do that if they can capitalize on others’ sexist insecurities?
I suspect women have their own version of “girl code.” However, I’m in no position to judge the societal pressures and nuances that make it up.
